About a Girl

They call me Jorja - and if you were to look me up in a dictionary, you'd probably find something like this:

Jorja Kate, (n) - a 13-year-old girl who resides near London, England. Loves writing, hard rock music, and coverse sneakers.

I am tomboy and you could almost say I'm proud of it - along with my weird pride of being British, despite the stereotypical outlook that the whole world will bear against me. I'm the girl who has her hair falling into her green-grey-blue eyes, and who you can find waiting at the bus stop after each schoolday.

I live in my converse, because they are the most amazing type of shoe ever. However, one would prefer it if they were a mimick of the ones Percy Jackson wears - I could so do with the little wings on the side.

I tend to soar into the depths of imagination without wings (they would be a nice addition though), and I am forever thinking up stories and characters. I would say I tend to pick up my pencil and write non-stop, but I tend to scribble down gibberish and type it up into some kind of thing vaguely resembling creative expression. In the future I want to work with English, probably alongside other things.

You can call me a freak, but I'd just say I'm a twist on strange. I am a unique person who doesn't feel the need to stick to the "in" crowd and trends; all I need style-wise are hoodies, logo tees, belts, bracelets, skinny jeans and of course, my beloved converse.
Admittedly I don't have that many friends, but the ones I do have are true to me and make me laugh everyday. Due to the apparent antisocial hermit vibe that lingers around me, I appear to be one who simply lives life to the fullest and doesn't care what other people think.

I have a twin brother and an elder sister, plus my parents. I live in a poky little village that seldom sees anything exciting so, yeah, I guess life for me can be pretty boring. I live near London and I love going there because it's so different to where I live.

I listen to music non-stop. I think I might have a slight obsession with rock/metal/punk music. Be it My Chemical Romance, Breaking Benjamin or Nirvana who are blaring from my speakers, I'm always gonna be happy.

I love to draw - whether it is a full, careful sketch or just cartoons or doodles. I'm not great at art but it is something I love.
My other hobbies include reading, webdesigning and photography; although the sad truth is, I am not at all photogenic. As a result of this, should you aim a camera my way I'm just going to duck.

I try to make the most out of life; after all, living and existing are two completely different things. I'm pretty shy though, so people might not register my presence anyway. But if you get to know me, and if you treat me like a human being, I'll give you the same back and you'll end up with a loyal, carefree friend who suddenly isn't as quiet as you thought.

I like to think I'm profound and deep, but others just call me crazy - take your pick. But please make sure you get to know me before you judge, 'cause that's only fair.
I dislike judgemental people, along with tattoos, yellow, hockey, liars, telltales, boredom, waiting, fizzy drinks, fire, maths and bad grammar.

I like autumn, basketball, spiders, ice-cream sundaes, dreaming, freedom, travelling and my friends.

I am considered to be pretty mature for my age because of my writing style and the general way I handle situations. A lot of people online are surprised to find out I am only thirteen.

As an end note: if you have a problem with who I am, or you don't accept me as a person, keep it to yourself. It's not worth your time, because I won't change for anyone. I am who I am, I was who I was; and I will be who I will be.

After all - don't be who you want to be; be who you are.
